Owner / Larry Williams
Since 1990, owner Larry Williams has set a performance standard in DJ entertainment that is unmatched in the area.  He has mentored and trained dozens of DJs and continues to be a respected industry leader who is nationally renown for his seminars and educational products to progress the DJ and wedding industries.  In 2007, his "extensive experience" and "advanced level training" reached a pinnacle of success having achieved the attained status as the first and only Wedding Entertainment Director™ in the state of Nevada.

For our customers, this means an "experience" of pre-event planning, personal attention and event day presentation that will far exceed traditional expectations.  Each and every showcase is meticulously detailed by owner Larry Williams.  His extensive experience and training in technical aspects, presentation quality, vocal ability and pre-event coordination has created an environment of excellence in event planning and execution of phenomenal event day entertainment.  As a proficient Master of Ceremonies, Larry Williams will add a dimension of elegance with his world-class vocal ability.  All the while placing the focus where it belongs, upon the celebrants and event at hand . . . not on himself.  These are the hallmarks of a well-trained veteran of the entertainment industry who has devoted nearly two decades to creating spectacular memories for his customers.

Performance Etiquette
We strongly feel this should be the 'most important' consideration when hiring a DJ company.  The Reno Tahoe DJ Company offers a performance style that is 'unobtrusive' and ' non-overbearing'.  NO unplanned interactive guest involvement, NO embarrassing theatrics and NO over-the-top humor!  We do not use any canned one-liners in an effort to 'stand out' from the crowd.  You can expect a professional presentation of style, class and precision!  Additionally, we have very strict 'grooming' policies and our DJs do not consume alcoholic beverages at performance events.

We will treat your celebration with the appropriate etiquette it deserves!  Our goal is to have every guest remember what a great party YOU threw . . . not about how great we are!!!  The focus of attention is always on the party at hand.  If the event is a wedding, this is YOUR day to shine . . . not ours!  If it is a corporate event, this event should be specifically detailed with the best interests of your employees in mind.  We will not conduct our services in any sort of a self-serving fashion.  We will simply be the presenters of the finest and most entertaining musical evening your guests have enjoyed in a very long time! Time Commitment
It is not uncommon for the average person to simply look at the performance hours needed and expect a rate to be based upon those hours.  However at The Reno Tahoe DJ Company, our reputation has been built upon "customer service" before, during and after the event.  Because we are a full-time DJ company, we can dedicate more time to each and every client.  On average, we dedicate between 20 and 50 hours of pre-event planning to each and every performance.  The multiplicity of hours spent on each performance includes initial and unlimited pre-event consultations with our customers and other event staff personnel, system readiness, music upgrades, detailed scripting, presentation rehearsal, a lengthy variety of event day travel, early arrival, set-up, performance time and post performance matters.  Simply put, our company will dedicate an enormous amount of time to the important details of your event that are crucial to ensure it's success!

Over the years, our customers have been very complimentary and supportive of the unique and well-defined 'Presentation Based Elements' of our performances.  What are 'Presentation Based Elements'?  PBE's (as they are called) represent those unique and special moments that can only be presented by an articulate, world-class Master of Ceremonies.  Simple announcements are for the average DJ.  Presentation Based Elements are masterful announcing techniques designed to emotionally move an audience.

Our "Remarkable Weddings" package is clearly the personification of what 'Presentation Based Elements' of performance is all about.  If you have ever watched a movie and have been moved to tears, to laughter or to extreme heartfelt emotion . . . you have then experienced the impact of what is possible when world-class elements of presentation are at work.  Owner Larry Williams is a veteran of advanced level education and has thoroughly studied and mastered this manner of presentation.

This important element of our service is certainly the main characteristic that sets us apart.  Just like the in-flight hours of a commercial pilot often progresses his or her skill level far and above the average recreational pilot . . . the same is true of the performance hours that are gained by veteran DJs who have experienced hundreds of shows and developed thousands of hours of valuable experience.

Larry Williams offers a unique vocally animated performance style, top-level stage presence, excellent showmanship and a gift of knowing how to engage an audience so they may maximize their experience in a memorable fashion.  As testament to his extensive experience . . . in 2003, Larry was hand-selected to perform for legendary DJ Dick Clark at a family wedding celebration for Mr. Clark's brother-in-law.  This single performance received widespread national recognition and has been favorably looked upon as one of the 'greatest single accomplishments' in the history of the mobile DJ industry.
